An Extra Long “Poissonniere” Measuring at 34”! Antique Copper Fish Kettle/Poacher from France, Circa Mid-1800’s✨

Beautifully handmade with brass handle fittings and brass seams. This would make a great display piece in a cafe or restaurant or a unique table centrepiece for flowers. The fact that it’s narrow makes it so versatile to fit on a mantle, top or bottom, or a console where your tv is!

CONDITION
Overall condition in line with age; 3 items of note:
1. One side has a break where the handle meets the body, please see last two photos for details.
2. On that same side, the bottom has a crumpled look.
3. In a few spots around the rolled rim there are slightly separated pieces; it is set and there is no moving it with your hands.
— Again all of these items are more aesthetic than integral to the structure, they are not moving and you would need a skilled person and tools to move the metal at all. It is staying how it is, set in place.
